Dr. Kam Brar Dr. Kam Brar
Dr. Brar did his DVM in 1986 and then pursued a Master’s Degree (MVSc) in Pharmacology. He completed the MVSc in 1989 and then spent the next five years teaching and doing research. His research has been published in international journals. In 1995 he spent a year at the University of Missouri updating his clinical skills.
Dr. Brar’s relentless pursuit in finding alternatives to Western medicine led him towards Chinese medicine and he received his certification in that discipline from the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 2003. His interests are in the integration of Eastern and Western medicine to bring care and ease the suffering. He employs many different modalities which include, massage, magnets, acupuncture, homeopathy, Chinese herbs, Indian herbs and flower essences to name some.
